My fiancee read the books. It’s very simple, it’s a book that unleashes your inner 16 yr old girl. It’s like Harry Potter meets a romance novel. But the movies suck, I just think the main guy looks funny with his hair sticking up the way ribbies does.

I think a lot of women like it because it’s based on the very romantic premise of everlasting/eternal love. My issue with the books is that an 18 year old girl is so willing to give up her entire LIFE for the vampire. IMO- it sets a horrible example for the girls reading them.

Part of me says, well, it’s like using the hands in Soccer, but then again, we allow goals that go off skates if it’s not a kicking motion, so… Possibly could see your point that if it’s not off the ice though. Or if it’s not an intentional kick in like this one was, but makes it very subjective.

Well, I wear random jerseys, including opposing team jerseys to Stars games all the time, and never really get heckled, or pushed much, so I wouldn’t worry about it

I wore it in 2001 at a game in Buffalo
came out unscathed. Of course I was sitting with bunch of Leafs fans who out numbered the Sabres fans there. Very odd.

I always wear my Modano uni to Oiler and Flames games… they can’t say much because Dallas usually has good records against them…

There is a fan who has season tickets that is a lifetime Whalers fan, always wears his jersey (A #16 Verbeek, so it’s not too bad) but everythime my Fiancee and I wear Hurricanes jerseys I swear he hunts us down to tell us about stealing his team.
