Streaming games
Rajangan.net doesn’t always work — it didn’t yesterday — but tonight’s game is on their list of feeds.
7:18pm
And the crowd is non existent here.
Come out to the game folks!

is it bad
that I left happy hour early to come home and watch the stars?
I must have this thing for hockey boys from Whitby with the initials JN.
Absolutely not
What is bad is the fact these feeds aren’t working. I hate living outside the DFW area.

the only good thing about living in Ohio
is when the Stars play the blue skirts and I can watch the game on TV instead of my laptop. I will say this though, you all know how I love Razor but the blue jackets color guy, Bill Davidge was the coach at Miami University, my alma matter and I love him.

Well, at least it's been a spirited start for th Stars.

Really likes the refs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much analysis on them.
That is NOT a penalty.
This is why Ott had been playing soft the past few games.

When did they change the goalie rules?
Shouldn’t Marty and Mason have gotten 2 minutes each for leaving the crease and Mason with an extra 2 for for crossing the red-line?
Marty did nothing wrong.
He can leave the crease. Mason crossed the red line and was penalized for it.

Here is what in unfortunate.
The Stars didn’t have a bad period. They had some great chances, showed some great energy, and really stood up for each other when the BJ’s started to get nasty.
But a poke at a puck and a goal with .3 seconds left has ths team in a big hole.
WTF.

Five min major
And automatic ejection
by Brad Gardner on Nov 19, 2009 8:51 PM CST via mobile reply actions
And...yeah.
I just watched that hit about 4 times…
Neal hit him from behind, but it was shoulder to shoulder, and pasted him to the boards. Not the worst hit ever, but a great example of the injury leading to the punishment.

Yeah...not Marty's fault.
But at some point something needs to happen. He’s rattled a bit and has been thrown off his game.

Well
I could see they were getting in his head when he got involved in that scuffle in the first. Marty isn’t the type of guy to take this well though. I’d leave him in. You take him out and he’s going to sit on the bench thinking for the rest of the game. You leave him in and he gets to vent his frustrations and hopefully pull out a couple saves to at least take something from this game.
I hated being yanked in games like this. Leave him and let him play it out.
Ok so...
Tomorrow I was planning on writing this nice article on how the PK has really improved.

I want them to win, always. And I want them to play admirably because they’re more capable than their record indicates.
But if tired players get hurt pushing to make a 4-1 beating a slightly less severe loss, I’d say it’s not worth it because a loss is a loss.
