DISH is not carrying this game on FSSW, but it is on NHL Network. However, if you live in the DFW area the game is blacked out on NHL Network. Mike Heika breaks it down:

He's been pretty impressive to me this season.
I really think that scooting out of Ottawa has helped his game. That city’s just too high pressure for a goalie to really flourish. I guess the only upside there is that it’s not Toronto or Montreal.

He had one bad game...
But his numbers are skewed a bit because of a defense that goes into retarded mode when Auld is in net. He’s very solid, not flashy but always gives this team a chance. All you can ask.

I've always found it interesting...
… how some teams tend to play better for one goalie over the other. You’d think they’d play equally as well for both, but I really think that personality issues and how much the team respects them can come into play a lot.

I think it's also because of how Turco plays the puck.
The defense has to make some major adjustments when Auld plays, and you can tell it takes some time for them to get used to it.

That probably has to do with it too.
Turco’s an outstanding puck handler.
That actually makes me think… the Thrashers (last season, not this) played better for Hedberg than for Kari. Moose is a much better puck handler than Lehtonen is. I never really took that into consideration before, but I can see where that stands to reason, especially seeing as how this year they’re playing as well for Moose as they are for Pavelec, who can also handle the puck better than Lehtonen.

I saw a lot of Auld in Florida
and it wasn’t good. I think he had a lot of pressure trying to replace Luongo. and then there was the incident with Belfour. Belfour wound up winning the #1 job in Florida that year. I am glad to see Auld playing with more confidence here. I think having a prior relationship with Crawford has helped him.

the official report
was that Eddie spilled water on the floor causing Auld to trip and injure himself. Unofficially I heard a rumor of what happened but I don’t know for sure and I don’t want to speculate. but I am sure one BILLION dollars was somehow involved.

Auld was pressed against the post.
The puck squeezed under his glove and he jammed it against the inside of the net with his pad. The puck was about 5 inches over the line.

I'm still confused how the intent to blow...
… and whistle related things can be called any sort of penalty. How do you know when someone wants to do something, unless all of the refs are under mind control or something.

a little known historical fact
