Who was called up to take Niskanen’s place?? Or, are they gonna only run 5 D-Men tonight as well.

by k9mike on Oct 22, 2009 8:38 PM CDT reply actions

They have 7 defensemen on the 23-man roster right now...

Woywitka will play on the third pairing with Grossman with Niskanen out.

Lucky for me I have tomorrow off.

And I had a Coke Zero for the caffeine. I’ll see how long that lasts.
Really, What will keep me going is to see an exciting game like last nights game.

I’m thinking Ribs gets the first goal…

At least you didn’t have to put up with Bryan Hayward last night…

It’s tough listening to Ralph and Razor all the time. :)

And what is funny here,,,

I have two feeds, one in HD and one in standard def.. usually the HD is the home feed and the SD is visitors.. but tonight it’s Stars feed in both

Why not mute it and listen on line to R & R?

If you have a DVR you can pause to sync it with their feed. Unless they are ahead and then I’ve got nothing.

Smart play and it’s done all the time when you only have a second or two left.

Even if the Stars won the face off clean (which, lets be honest is very unlikely right now) and got it back to an open guy who wired the puck as hard as possible, it still wouldn’t cross the goal line in time to beat the whistle.

And they kill themselves again

Brunnstrom has to go.

He just has to go

by Brad Gardner on Oct 22, 2009 11:47 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

Brunnstrom

Is just beyond help at this point, isn’t he?

by Brad Gardner on Oct 22, 2009 11:49 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

I'm starting to think that way...

He just isn’t improving on the soft play… it’s not that he’s a bad player, he’s just not hard enough on the puck.

With a bad groin, B-Rad still kills. This is the best I’ve seen him play defensively since, well, EVER!

by schtimpy27 on Oct 23, 2009 12:00 AM CDT reply actions

hell yeah got a point out of this joke of a game

by SConn on Oct 23, 2009 12:00 AM CDT reply actions

Damn

We finally did something against these guys. Way to come back. Now lets get that extra point

by k9mike on Oct 23, 2009 12:01 AM CDT reply actions

Turn the tv off folks

This is a GD win. Thus point was stolen. Straight up stolen

by Brad Gardner on Oct 23, 2009 12:01 AM CDT via mobile reply actions

Very unlikely point..

But I’ll take it!!

Now.. win it in OT!!

by Art Middleton on Oct 23, 2009 12:01 AM CDT reply actions

neal for the hattie!

by SConn on Oct 23, 2009 12:02 AM CDT reply actions

well, frankly, they barely deserved a point, let alone 2.

by schtimpy27 on Oct 23, 2009 12:03 AM CDT reply actions

True...

And Kevin Pollack barely deserves to keep his job after this game… But I digress.

by Art Middleton on Oct 23, 2009 12:05 AM CDT up reply actions

by SConn on Oct 23, 2009 12:04 AM CDT reply actions

by schtimpy27 on Oct 23, 2009 12:05 AM CDT reply actions

Well.

As Razor said … “Monstrous!” point on the road. Plus we stay undefeated in regulation on the road. :3 See you all Saturday!

Quick

Has received a lot of praise around here.

Not sure why.

Great point. Talk about making something from nothing…hell, less than nothing. That was all James Neal all the time.

by Brad Gardner on Oct 23, 2009 12:13 AM CDT reply actions

And a little Jamie Benn thrown in for good measure…

Four goals.. three were absolute laser beams complete with vapor trails (Kevin Pollock I am sure is still waving that fourth goal off…) and one was a floater from the blue line that had no right going in! lol

WTF RED WINGS

Apparently the Coyotes are the best team in the conference.
