Gagnon Sent Down ; Lindgren Called Up

The Stars are calling up forward Perttu Lindgren to take the spot of Aaron Gagnon, who was sent back to the Texas Stars earlier today.

Lindgren has two goals, one assist and a plus-two rating in six games for Texas. I’ve watched Texas play one game and thought Lindgren was very noticeable. He’s made some good strides in the past year. It will be interesting to see what he can do at the NHL level if he gets in a game.

Aaron Gagnon appeared in Friday's game against Boston, logging 9:06 of ice time and winning 5 of the 8 faceoffs that he took. Which was a little impressive when you consider that the rest of the team won 18 of 47 in the dot.
